Kit Rasmussen

Actor, Storyteller, Stage Combat Artist

Kit Rasmussen is an actor and stage combat artist based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They have performed on both stage and screen and have most recently been seen in an adaptation of Cyrano de Bergerac at Kechi Playhouse and as Prentiss in Peter and the Starcatcher at Wichita State University. 

Kit holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from Wichita State University. Their interest in stage combat and stunt fighting has led them to pursue the rank of Intermediate Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors and Actor Combatant with the British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat.

 

Kit has worked at university and local theatres as an actor, stuntman, and fight choreographer, and for two years has worked with the Marshall County Arts Cooperative and Missoula Children's Theatre as a drama and stage combat teacher for kids in kindergarten through high school. 

In addition to acting and stage combat, Kit is also an award-winning equestrian. They have competed across the United States in several disciplines and qualified for multiple national championships. They have ridden racehorses, Grand Prix jumpers, and horses just started under saddle, and are comfortable with any level and any obstacle.
